The "before" pic of the mahogany chair
Good lines on the chair but scary fabric. Under the fabric was some bent plywood ... so Josh replaced it with the reclaimed mahogany. A few posts down shows the finished chairs.
Oak Office Chair
This chair was rotting outside Josh's studio for at least a year.
The legs still have to be oiled to finish off the chair but here it is. What I think it needs is cool pillow and some one to sit in it. I imagine that it could get pretty comfy because it has a big old seat.
I was thinking that the pillow that is on the yellow chair might work on the office chair. It is a pillow from our personal collection and we purchased it at an antique store in Asheville, NC. It has interesting shapes and a perfect mix of bold, primary colors.

first studio shot
here is a shot of Josh's studio. To create more space, he has tons of chairs hanging from the ceiling. He shares a studio with a friend who has a furniture business called refind furniture. Both Josh and Luke work in the a similar way by recycling and reclaiming and reinventing ... very fun!!
